Crops Suitable for EDTA-Mn

2026-11-04

A wide range of crops are sensitive to manganese deficiency, and EDTA-Mn can bring obvious benefits for them. Among grain crops, wheat, rice, corn, sorghum and barley all have high demand for manganese during tillering and grain filling stages. Deficient manganese will reduce tiller number and thousand-grain weight. For fruit trees, citrus, apple, pear, grape, kiwi and cherry frequently show manganese deficiency symptoms on young leaves. Timely manganese supplementation helps improve leaf health and fruit quality. Vegetables including potato, tomato, cucumber, bean, cabbage and strawberry respond well to EDTA-Mn. Legume crops such as soybean and peanut rely on manganese for nodule development and nitrogen fixation. Ornamental flowers, nursery seedlings and turf grass also use EDTA-Mn to keep uniform color and reduce leaf disease problems.
