Soil Adaptability of EDTA-Mn

Soil Adaptability of EDTA-Mn

2026-11-04

Many farmlands around the globe are neutral or alkaline calcareous soil. In this kind of soil environment, conventional inorganic manganese fertilizer will be rapidly fixed, and the effective manganese content drops sharply after application, leading to low utilization rate and unsatisfactory correction effect. EDTA-Mn owns a stable working pH range from 4.0 to 8.0. It can maintain good solubility and high biological activity even in alkaline soil with high calcium content. Unlike other chelated manganese products with narrow adaptability, EDTA-Mn performs steadily in acid soil, neutral soil and slightly alkaline soil. For continuous cropping greenhouses, long-term single fertilization often causes trace element imbalance and hidden manganese deficiency. Regular supplement of EDTA-Mn is an efficient solution to prevent hidden hunger of manganese in these plots.
