EDTA Zinc Application Guide: Suitable for Soil, Foliar and Drip Irrigation

2026-08-27

EDTA-Zn is a highly compatible and safe premium micronutrient fertilizer. It suits almost all crops and planting systems, including foliar spraying, soil drenching and drip fertigation. It causes no leaf burn, no fertilizer damage and no nutrient antagonism.

Foliar spraying is the most efficient and popular application method. After dilution, it is evenly absorbed by leaves, rapidly relieving chlorosis, improving photosynthesis and strengthening flower buds. It can be safely used at seedling stage, flowering stage, young fruit stage and stress recovery stage.

Soil application targets hidden and stubborn zinc-deficient fields. Especially in alkaline, calcareous and continuous cropping soils, available zinc content is extremely low, and ordinary zinc fertilizers hardly work. EDTA-Zn maintains stable activity in soil for a long time, continuously supplies available zinc for root uptake, and fundamentally solves recurrent zinc deficiency and stunted seedlings.

It features excellent compatibility and can be mixed with water-soluble NPK fertilizers, amino acids, seaweed extracts, multi-micronutrients and neutral or acidic pesticides for synergistic effects. It improves fertilizer utilization, balances nutrient absorption, stabilizes flowers and fruits, and enhances stress resistance. It should not be mixed with strong alkaline agents or quicklime to avoid damaging the chelated structure.

Safe, efficient and residue-free, EDTA-Zn fits green and organic planting standards and has become a standard micronutrient input for high-quality commercial farming.
